We refer to Culture in its broadest terms: a system of shared assumptions, values, beliefs, and traditions that govern how people behave and perceive the world within particular groups.
We see Climate as the environment the various cultures within a school or organization experience as they interact.
Courage, as informed by our work with Circle of Trust concepts, is the degree to which individuals can bring respectful and productive engagement to the relational work within a school or organization.
Culture, Climate and Courage can all be respected and developed with work, responsiveness to individual needs, and with the development of trust.
