To successfully finish the SD Social Studies and OSEU Course, you will need to complete and submit a total of 3 IDM format lesson plans (including the one you created for unit 4) that are aligned to both the OSEU and the SD Social Studies standards. Use the tools and template provided in Unit 4 and on the South Dakota IDM Lesson Planning page to complete this task before the course deadline.

If you are taking the course that included the “Face to Face” gatherings in the fall of 2016, your final deadline for completion of all 3 lessons is December 30th, 2016.

If you are taking the on-line, self-paced course in the spring of 2017, your final deadline for completion of all 3 lessons is April 15th, 2017 (no matter when you started it).

As with the unit 4 lesson, you will need to turn your other 2 lessons in by email as a Word document attachment to:
